I know the human being and the fish can coexist peacefully
hate I've never liked George W. Bush, and I never voted for him. It's not just because he is a master of war, or because he preys on demon-fearing Americans. As much as those things repulse me, it is his total lack of qualities that inspires my hatred. Yes, I have grown to hate George Bush.
From the day he burrowed and squirmed to the top in a questionable election; to the lies and war; to when Guantanamo still had that new-prison smell; to the shredding of our Constitution, I have hated him more each day. I have never before said those words about anyone, and I thought I never would. I am not proud that I now understand Bob Dylan's words when he wrote "Masters of War" in 1963... I am not proud, but I understand.

Some say none of the candidates today have qualities. I, for one, hope beyond hope for a president who will stop the hatred. I hope for a president who inspires the best in us, not the worst. In our invisible Nebraska caucus, I will vote for Barack Obama.
