I know the human being and the fish can coexist peacefully

My neighbor recently was released from the hospital with a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension.  She has that wonderful Medicare drug plan devised by our benevolent leaders.

She was told the cost of the drug that might improve her quality of life, and might lengthen her life, would cost her $4,000 a month. She and her husband soon will be 70. They didn't have a whole heck of a lot before this illness. Now they have a lot less. I'm guessing they will let the disease progress without treatment.

Apparently the American Dream is only for the healthy and wealthy....and we're none the wiser.
