FREEDOM IS A NUDE BEACH
Shortly after we retired, my spouse and I enjoyed exploring beaches in South Florida. Our beach walks usually were restricted to Pompano Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and areas north. We easily walked ten miles in a day along the shore, drinking in the sunshine and scenery as we drained our water bottles.
One particularly warm winter morning we decided to venture south to Miami Beach for our trek. We didn't expect this hike to be all that different from the others, except for a slight variation in faces, vegetation, beach houses, and high rises.
After a few miles I noticed a figure of a man on a blanket removing his clothing. He was seated, and although I expected his bathing suit was under his trousers, I averted my eyes just the same.
We continued to walk North toward a man who was heading South. At a certain point (my vision is not 20-20) I found my eyes fixed on his penis. My brain joined my eyes after a split second and I realized I was having my first nude beach experience. The man appeared to be about my age, and my eyes moved to his as he said, "How's it going?"... I smiled and replied that things were going well indeed.
Later, as we exited the beach we noticed signs near the road warning those entering that Haulover Beach indeed is a nude facility. Of course no signs announced that fact to us as we trodded along the shore.
Before that day I hadn't known that such a place existed in our populated area. Although I didn't shed my clothing, I promised myself that I would return some day and do so.
I went home comforted by the fact that the Garden of Eden did exist. Somewhere, very near, folks were not ashamed to take their clothes off and were still free to ...well...let it all hang out.

This reminiscence was inspired by an article I read today about the world's most beautiful nude beaches... and, yes, Haulover Beach in Florida was among them.
