I know the human being and the fish can coexist peacefully

Don Imus is just another public figure in a long line of public figures whose speaking apparatus is not connected to his brain.  We know who they are.  They are black, white, conservative, liberal, male, female--the universal spokesmen. 

We don't have a clue as to what they were thinking when they spewed their stupidity and we don't know what their victims were thinking. 

We do know that when all was said and done, our freedom of speech had been irresponsibly and irrevocably eroded.
