All I know about assisted suicide I learned on Logan's Run

I always find myself defending my right to make choices about my life... and death. I don't know much about death with dignity, compassion in death, quitters, hope, hopelessness, and the natural course of events. It's like art, I only know what I like.
Speaking of which, a TV series popped up in 1977 which was based on the film and book "Logan's Run". It wasn't very good and lasted only a season... another example of a good idea gone bad, which happens to be television's area of expertise. In case you never heard of it, it was about a society that kills people off at a certain (and tender) age.
The concept of strong arming someone to end his life is scary. But that isn't what physician assisted suicide is all about, at least now anyway.
I'm sure that when the corporate interests find it in our best interest to start killing us off, it will happen. Don't you think?
